I recently bought a new Honda and thought some might find this information from the window sticker interesting.

Final Assembly Point: Alliston Ontario, Canada
Country of Origin:
Engine: USA
Transmission: Japan
US/Canadian Parts Content: 65%
Major Sources of Foreign Parts Content:
Japan 20%

Does anybody know where Honda's engine factory is located?

Is this true nationwide now? West coast Civics were previously made in Japan - my 2007 was. You could tell by the VIN.

I checked the used Civics at a Los Angeles dealer:

2HGFG2
JHMFA1
2HGFG2
19XFB2
2HGFA1
19XFA1
2HGES2

Well, one was Japanese made.

Not all of them apparently. My 2007 (EX coupe) was made in Ontario. It varied by model, though. IIRC maybe the hybrids were made in Japan, and there may have been a sedan vs coupe difference too.

Don't they still make them in Ohio?

edit: Looks like they don't anymore
