We run dedicate snows, 215/60R16 94H
Continental Extreme WINTER Contact

Need all seasons now and am getting Coopers. Read enough that I am sure RT 43's would suffice but I'm set in the coopers.

Question now is
Ultra rated H
Or
Grand Touring rated T

As I understand it, the T would be better (or is that only for snow?) handling but not available in Ultra.

Grand touring will last longer, the Ultra touring is if you want extra dry performance

I have the H-rated Cooper CS5 Ultras in 205/60-15 on the '94 Volvo in my sig. I have to say that I have been impressed with both the wet and dry performance of these tires, and recommend them without hesitation.

Is this the 3.5 or 2.5 Altima?? I believe the 3.5 are specd for a V rated tire. I know my 08 3.5 Altima is specified for a V rated speed tire. I will say my Goodyear Assurance tires were really great for the first 30k miles and pretty good after that.

Recommend going with what the driver door jam placard specifies. Probably H.

Are you going to continue running snow tires in the winter?

I would get the grand touring. Smooth riding, quiet and long mileage. As mentioned already, check the door jam and get either a T or H.

Speaking of Coopers, there is a rebate out there now for them. Worth looking into

I'll second the CS5. Have a set of H-rated Ultras on my Camry and the Grand Touring on my 2013 Sienna. Quiet, good traction in dry and wet.

Buy with the rebate. Use online prices and have installer match the price (Discount Tire Direct had the lowest prices online). NTB and CJ Tires both matched online prices.

Saw The Cooper rebate, only for grand touring. We don't have a lot of tire chains in our area. Usually the Nissan dealer is cheaper than anyone. Even my local mechanic can't beat their price.

I just bought a set of Cooper RS3-A tires on discounttiredirect.com. $40 discount on 4, plus $60 rebate from Cooper, and another $30 rebate from DT because I used their card. Worked out to just over $300 for 4 tires (215/55r17)

Free shipping too. You might consider checking them out.

I just looked at the Cooper website and the rebate form and it looks to me that both the CS5 GT and UT are included in the rebate.

Door jam and manual do not indicate speed rating at all.

The Ultra H-rated will probably have better handling than the T-rated tire.

The OE speed rating is in fact T, but I'd still go for the H since you are looking for some handling.

As usual my local Nissan dealer beats everyone on price. Hundred dollars less than my mechanic, by the time you add, installation it shoots the Internet prices out of the water also.
