What is your thoughts on using 1qt Lucas synthetic oil stabilizer to 5 qts 5w30 mobil one synthetic oil every oil change?

I used it in a Jeep Wrangler with 250,000 miles on it that had an oil pressure issue and needed a rebuild. That is the only reason I would use it.

I gained a couple PSI and drove it for another summer.

Do a search here on that.

Don't ruin/dilute the M1 oil with that Lucas junk. It has no add pack so it dilutes the detergent , the anti-wear, the friction modifiers.

I won't let a bottle of anything Lucas near my engines.

There's zero reason to use any thickener swill when you can simply bump a grade. I'm running 15w-40 in my 03 and 05 instead of 5w-30 and 0/5w-40 in my 21 instead of 0w-20 that's still under warranty. Use a 40 grade. My minimum hot oil pressure on all 3 is 35-38 psi.

It does have a place. It's great for pre lubing an oil pump so that it picks up oil quickly. But that's about it.

ran in a 94 Silverado from 80,000 til 270,xxx when the engine locked up. did.2 quarts.lucas to 4 quarts of oil.

Just started driving and didn't even know what an oil change was.....but my mechanic father told me to run it so I did.

why do you think you need a additive ? ,,best to stay with a well formulated oil, in general additives are not good to use, only in very few cases.

If you do the math 1qt into 5-6 quarts essentially moves it up a grade so you are better off just buying thicker oil on the shelf. Not thick water for your oil sump.
