looking for a good car to keep for a long time, 6-7 years if I can stretch it.

I spoted a few diffrent model, diffrent size too, not fossy about it.

2010 ford fusion, 2011 toyota corolla, 2011 chevy cruze (non turbo).

I would like a car that parts are not too expensive and that is durable.

Opinions or other recommandation would be apreciated.

Thanks!

what about a sonata?
mehh, dont like the service at the hyundai dealer, plus they dont offer courtesy vehicle, so that sucks

Hey Wolf, if you test drive the Corolla and like it, its extremely dependable. Parts are on expensive but im at 160k kms and havent done anything cept brake pads and change oil. You can always look at the Camry as well. Or Subarus also dependable. I drove the cruze but didnt like it...and gas mileage worse than my corolla...although i drove the 1.4 turbo..looks big on outside but small on inside..slow acceleration...test drive them. One size dont fit all!

That's far from my experience. I'm 6'6" and can fit in the Cruze easily. In fact, it's the only small car I'm comfortable in. My mother in law has a 2012 LT with the 1.4 turbo and it gets up and goes as well if not better than any other car its size. In fact, the Cruze Eco is rated by the EPA for the best gas mileage of any car of its type. How could you figure the mileage out on a test drive anyway?

I'd steer clear of a 2011 Cruze. The 2011's had a lot of first year teething issues that got sorted by model year 2012. The automatic transmission in particular was much better in 2012 than in 2011. See if there's a leftover 2012 Cruze, as it'll be a better-sorted car than the 2011. Aside from that, test-drive them all and see which one you like the best.

I'd disagree with the assessment of the Cruze in 1.4T guise as slow and thirsty. Mine's pretty quick when I get on it, and still returns 40+ mpg on almost every tank. The interior is just fine for me, and the back seat is better than my friend's Civic for space.
