2009 Traverse multiple misfire codes

My one owner 2009 Chevy Traverse. Just turned 100k miles. Always had 5k synthetic oil changes.

CEL came on. Checked codes, getting multiple misfire codes. P0300, 301, 303, 304, 305

Is this a sign of the timing chains being bad? They are the original chains.

According to the extended warranty on this vehicle, they're still covered. It states 10 year/120k miles.

I cleared the codes, but maybe I shouldn't of. Can dealer see cleared codes?

Take it to dealer asap?

How are the spark plugs?

They can tell when the codes were last cleared and a few other things. I'm not 100% sure what GM does. I'd stop driving it and take it to the dealer asap. I would even consider having it towed to the dealer.
Contact the dealer first for advice and don't be afraid to tell them you cleared the codes since the tech will discover that.

He has an extended warranty AND an old car with issues. Now the code might not pop back up until it's out of warranty.

hahaha. OP you better hope they show back up. I'm sure they will though. To get a check engine light the car needs to see the code present twice. Does your scanner show "pending" codes?

P0008 is what you usually get when the chain is going.

My FIL just had the chains replaced and a valve. One valve was causing the miss fire code. Carbon on the valve. Huge repair bill. He did the chains at the same time. Always 3000 mile OCI synthetic oil.

Yes. Original plugs. Thought they'd go another 10k or so. Will plan to replace them.

I always clear a non flashing CEL out of habit. I guess my thought if it's a real problem, it will come back soon enough.

I have another 7 months until chain warranty expires. Driving the vehicle now, nothing on yet. Will stay posted....

To update this:

I took the vehicle to the dealer right after I started this post. It was running fine, but they thought they found a vacuum leak in a breather hose. Probably nothing, but wanted to say they did something.

So we kept driving the vehicle, no code. Then last week CEL came on, and started flashing. I checked code, and it stated misfire on cylinder #4.

I suspected a bad coil, and that coil can't be removed without removing the intake. It was due from plugs anyway, so I pulled the intake, replaced the plugs, and put the #4 coll, on the #5 cylinder, since the back coils can be replaced without removing the intake.

Started the car, and CEL comes back, this time on cylinder #5. So I replaced that coil with a new one. No more codes, and it's running fine.
