Welp, we gotta leak, folks. It doesn't look like a transmission leak, so that's good. I can't tell where it's coming from. It's a 06 Accord V6 with 124k miles. It's not leaking like crazy—just a drop every two weeks or so.

Not sure. The previous owner had the oil changed at WoodMans Food Market. I was initially going to go with SuperTech HighMileage 5w-20. But, I've read good things about Valvoline Maxlife.
You may wish to check on Walmart: Pennzoil Platinum High Mileage Full Synthetic 5 quart jug.
On the back of the container, Pennzoil goes out of their way to prominently mention that it's helps to stop leaks.

Pennzoil is a very conservative company. Prominently mentioning that it helps to stop leaks right at the top of their description (on the back of the 5 quart container) might indicate that they are confident in it's ability to stop leaks.

Yeah from my understanding, Valvoline HM Synthetic blend might be the best option here. Supertech HM oil seems to suck 😂
I use SuperTech High Mileage Full Synthetic 5W-30. It's hard to tell if the seal swellers work or not.
My vehicles currently don't have any leaks. If I really wanted to stop a leak, I would use Pennzoil HMFS as my first choice.
But no one has done any testing on HM oil preventing or stopping leaks.

So for all we know, SuperTech's seal swellers could be just as good as any other brands. It's unknown.

I prefer SuperTech because it has generous amounts of anit-wear additives Phosphorous and Zinc, and detergent additive: Calcium.
Also, it has the Dexos 1 Gen 3 approval (which places stricter limits on sludge/varnish deposits than API SP), and it's $18.64 for a 5 quart jug, which is about $9 cheaper than most other name brands. Since I have 4 vehicles that go about 20k+ miles a year each, and since I do OCI every 5k miles, I do about 16 oil changes in a year across my fleet, so the $9 * 16 oil changes = savings of $144 per year (or $720 over 5 years) by using SuperTech HMFS. I also use 5W-30 (not 5W-20) as I prefer the higher HTHS.

Hmm maybe I should try 5w-30 instead or 5w-20?

Second the uv dye to nail it down

With that said, the honda j series do like to leak at the oil pump deal (timing belt needs to be removed to fix in 8 gens), and the leaks tend to “travel” and make it appear to leak elsewhere

I had the timing belt done at 122k. Mechanic didn't mention any leaks from there at the time.
