**********Update----Problem Resolved***************
So the short version is the battery connector was faulty. Here is the longer version...
I did listen to what everyone recommended here (except for the jump start recommnedation because the car was already being towed to the dealer) So thanks very much for all the good advice.
This morning I went to test the voltage on the with a multimeter and it was fine right around 12v. The problem still persisted, I could turn the key to on and the lights, radio, fuel pump would all kick on, and even the headlights were bright. When I cranked I got nothing. I had to make a move fast because my Dad needed the car when he got home. I dropped $90 for a tow to the dealer and I tell the guy the story and he says we should jump it and comes out with his little battery pack, jumps it, and has it running in about 3 minutes. Wow, I felt stupid at this point but happy nontheless! Dealer tech says I need to get a new battery which was purchased and installed and Walmart about a year ago. So I head back to Walmart, they test the battery and tell me its fine. I tell them the story and what the dealer said so I get them to swap the battery and we turn the key and NOTHING. So they tell me I am out of luck, they won't even jump me because its against the policy. So as they are pushing the car out to the lot, I said stop for a minute. I purchased one of those instant jump devices and asked them to jump it. As they were messing around with it one of the techs noticed that the terminal (with wing nut and crimped wire) was a bit loose. So he wiggles it while we try to start and it fires right up!! So I pull out the receipt from the battery installation and at the time of the battery replacement they also replaced the terminal too, the one that was messed up. I guess the battery was making enough contact to power the radio and lights but not enough to turn the starter! What are the chances? Kind of tricky to troubleshoot...I just told them I was going to fix it myself, I just wanted to get the [censored] out of there!
I have learned two things:
1. Don't take your car to Walmart for anything, because they can even screw up a battery install. The install was free, so I guess you get what you pay for!
2.Listed to the wisdom of the responders on bitog!
