2005 buick lesabre blower motor

Blower motor stopped working on 2005 Buick Lesabre, i tested voltage at the plug wire to the motor and I have 6 volt on the low setting and 12 volts on the high setting. I'm not much knowledgeable on these things so looking for some guidance. Replace blower motor?

Yes, replace it. Most likely bearings ran dry and caused motor to overheat and burn a winding internally.

Since this blower motor is located in the passenger compartment and you tested current at the ground, you probably can see what you need to do to replace it. But in case you need help, here is a video that shows more detail.

new gm blower motor arrived last night and I installed it right away, and it works great. Having heat is also great.
it was supposed to arrive last thursday, but the snowstorm delayed it 4 days, all is good though!
