I need to replace the CV Axles on my 04 Nissan Sentra 1.8.
Is there any brand that is favored on this forum or any I should avoid?

Avoid any inexpensive rebuilds from a major parts chain.

OEM are best.

Raxles are great if they make one that fits a Sentra.

If it’s just a boot problem, I would much rather reboot an OEM than install a cheap rebuild.

Swapping a CV shaft out is a 45 minute job so if it doesn't last 100k miles, it isn't the end of the world. Us regular DIY guys need to realize that what the pro's care about most is avoiding come backs. Parts that have a 7% premature failure rate are a valid reason for them to freak out, but shade tree guys like me may not care so much. I don't like junky parts, but on an old vehicle sometimes it's not worth it to pay 2x for OEM when the car isn't going to be on the road all that long anyway.

I’d see if I could find two reasonable quality OE ones and send them to CVJ in a Colorado.
