Hi Guys,

This is not my video .. but same noise ...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRrK23p8WiM

Knock/Rattle does not increase with RPM's, I can't hear when I step on gas ....

89k Km on the car

Nothing replaced so far ...

Oil 0w40 Castrol
Filter Fleece Bosch OEM

There is little knock/rattle on cold start and then it becomes the above noise.

I will put car on the lift on weekend does not sounds like exhaust its knock / rattle sound to me

I just hope its not a rod knock .. or something serious .. the good news that engines are available with low KM and are pretty cheap ... if I need to make a swap.

The serpentine’s idlers and tensioner are oft wear-prone and problematic on these engines.
I’d start with a stethoscope inspection around that neighborhood.

Perhaps pull its belt momentarily to ascertain and provide go/no-go diagnostic verification?
The harmonic damper's elastomer has also been known to become unglued.

Note these consumables are priced quite reasonably, unlike other M-B hardware.
Positive is these long blocks are typically heck bent for strong. Good luck.
