2002 Jeep liberty engine blown question

Maybe flexplate or flexplate bolts got loose and that was the noise and then it hit something and seized up and broke the engine? Who knows. Time to ship it to the junkyard!

Nope. First thing I checked when the thumping started. Took off the flex plate shield and rotated engine. Every screw on point. Also no junkyard lol maybe ls swap idk. But has a lot of off road parts and a lot of money.

Send the old engine to I do cars. I wonder how/why it died

Get a 4bt from a bread truck!! WAY cooler than an LS swap

Also, easy to suggest when you're spending someone else's time and money....
