What brands are available to you in your part of Mexico?
Id put Castrol Edge in it.

Probably because before BMW bought the Mini, the cars were made by Rover in Britain.

Thank you. I was going to say.. Rover was FORD not even BMW. But Rover.. did Rover go the way of Hummer or not? (Thought Ford regretted buying them.)
OP, got Castrol in Mexico? Almost any of their oils in 5W-30 should be fine. Really. Id choose Edge or Syntec, whichever one they have. If both, get Edge.. or whichever bottle looks prettier to you, maybe you like the black bottle.
That engine AFAIK sounds like any decent Oil of correct grade is OK, maybe Synthetic since it is a Mini.

It´s Correct
El Mini Cooper was made for the ROVER GROUP LTD and it buy for BMW. Land Rover Truck was Buy for Ford and TODAY the Owner is the Indu TATA.
