Not too bad really but the fact that they found the antifreeze was enough.

I take it they don't test for potassium or sodium? I agree - not too bad for glycol to be present.

Al,

This engine is supposedly notorious for bad gaskets, which lead to the antifreeze. My wife's was leaking a-f a few years back, and we had pretty much every gasket replaced. Cost a few hundred dollars, but it's approaching near 100k miles now, and not a single drop of a-f has shown up since. I've also heard that the Dex-Cool may be to blame. All mechanics I've spoken with say not to leave the Dex-Cool in any longer than a year or two, just like other "normal" a-f. If you're getting a-f to show up in the oil, it's probably too late now, and you'll need gaskets and a-f replaced.

Yea-I'm well aware of the problem. I have had two Corsicas (3.1L) in the past with this this problem. Itys almost a sure thing that the 3.1/3.4 will leak by 50K miles. Its not the DexCool. The Dex was developed to help the problem. Didn't do much though. The engines are a POS.
