2000 frontier lowering and truck cap

just bought a 2000 frontier crew cab. 4.5ft bed. is there a way to lower the height of the truck a bit without touching tire height? I'm pretty sure the front is torsion bar which should be easy enough but the back has leaf springs. does anybody make a kit for something like this.

also, the folks with truck caps, recommendations on brand and features. would love to have sizeable access to bed from sides, sliding window not enough, but don't want the look of a commercial cap.
