For 5k-6mon oci’s I’d run the snot out of super tech. Both filters will take it equally well. The Quaker state is right there with the super tech.Valvoline maxlife synblend
super tech full synthetic 20k miles

Which one would you choose. I had 4 family vehicles I will do oil change to . They all use 5w30. My oil filter choice properly fram orange can. Or STP blue oil filter. 5k or 6 month oil change .
Have a jug reserved for my next oil changeKirkland voter here as well. I purchased a couple boxes of the 2 pack 5 quarts jugs for $29.99 each a couple of days ago. I have used Kirkland for years without any problems.
I like that box for $22. But it’s not available here in DFW Texas . Not even shippingI don't like high mileage oils for cars not already leaking, so that would eliminate the maxlife for me.
Either of the other two would be fine.
If you need more than 5 quarts you might want to consider the Chevron boxes - there a good deal if you need 5+ quarts.
Walmart does have it, but usually not on the shelves. Just bought 6-5qt. jugs at $23.97 and should be here today.Spend a few more bucks to get a lot more value. Castrol 0w-40 is 23.97 in amazon for or the 5w-40 at walmart that's the same price but on shelves but the 0w-40 costs the same and is better but has to be ordered from amazon, walmart doesn't carry it.
Tried Walmart shipping? I can get that box to my door for $22.98.I like that box for $22. But it’s not available here in DFW Texas . Not even shipping
Unfortunately even though super tech is good oil. It's re-refined base stock has kept me from getting it. The price difference is not low enough for meI seriously doubt spending the extra $5 vs either the ST (Warren gets their base stock often from XOM), or Quaker State (compares favorably to Shell's other brand PP) would make any difference for a 5K OCI in a family vehicle.
Quaker State is the only answer.Valvoline maxlife synblend

You’ll find the lower end Quaker state to be nearly identical to the additive pack used by Warren for super tech and Kirkland signature. 60-100 ppm molybdenum is average in that price range. Even Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy comes in low around 70-90ppm +/-I've been using QS full synthetic for years now as my Mazda's enjoy the extra dose of moly it provides. But based on price as well as quality you sure can't beat Costco's Kirkland oils. Since the OP has four cars all using the same oil wt. the costco option makes sense as it can easily be bought in bulk and result in significant savings.
