That formulation looks kinda smoky, to me, and, cough, my eyes are starting to water just looking at it!

Here's a similar Toro 2 Cycle MSDS .

Citgo blends & bottles private labels for many in the outdoor power equipment industry.

And this basic dino formulation can be either ashless or low ash, depending on the detergent selected for the add pack.

I got the information from the lawnboy msds for their generation II oil and $1.50 per pint seems expensive for what you are getting.

Just a bit of playing around, Mtbugbee, as I was able to track the MSDS number to the Lawnboy oil. That was the reason for my "smoky" comment.

Lawnboy 2 Cycle Oil

Also, compare to the Citgo Marine Plus 2 Cycle Oil MSDS .

As you can see, the base oil blends for the Lawnboy and the Citgo TCW-3 oils are the same, and since Lawnboy oil is ashless, it no doubt also has the amine based detergents of a TCW-3 oil.

Lawnboy oil has the reputation of being very smoky and dirty as far as deposits go. I would use Phillips 66 Synjex, Injex or Amsoil HPI.

I missed the humor, but thanks for having a sense of humor. I was not trying to fool anyone, but the oil comes so highly recommended by many Lawnboy fans on another forum, yet it looks so average to me. I figured that there is so much experience here that I should ask others. I will look for the HPI or Synjex, but I have some Schaeffers to use up first. I hope it works better in Lawnboys than it did for Blano when he tested it.

Thanks,

Mark
