2.4 Ecotec stalls without additive?

It doesn’t.

You see correlation between the no smoke and your stalling. But correlation is not causality.

You have experienced coincidence, and attributed causality, when it’s just blind, random chance.

Two aspirin, or better, two Viagra, dropped into your oil are equally likely to fix this.

Wrong, stalled 6 months every start cold or hot, searched forums on the 2.4 engine. Seen YouTube saying this is only thing that fixed stall of his same year Terrain, I added 6 Oz it did not stall for 11 months. Little over week ago I did a oil change, every start it stalled again. So next day added 6 Oz of no smoke, zero stalling since. It's not coincidence the oil thickener is stopping the stall, I just don't know why.

You don’t have an explanation for your “effect”. Which means my explanation is better than your lack of explanation.
