1998 Caravan AWD Rear Diff and Transfer Case...

This AWD minivan is rare enough that I can't get sound advice on what to actually use. Redline Fluid would work out ideally since I could always use leftovers/mix/or take leftovers from my Turbo AWD vehicles and I just love the Amazon Free Super Saver Shipping....

Redline Heavyweight Shockproof and MT-90 was used in my Galant VR-4 diff/transfer case but I assume the mission would be different here since I won't be beating on it.

Suggestions please? I have Coastal 75w-90 laying around. I have Redline MTL laying around...I have synchromesh laying around...I have some MT90 laying around.

Van may be a road warrior so MPG comes into play but so does durability.

Here are the factory requirements:

differential fluid 80W-90 ( .7 liter or 1.48 pints )
transfer case 80W-90 ( 1.15 liter or 1.22 QT )

I would use the Coastal 75w90 oil.

Mopars from that era
usually used a syn 75w-90 GL5 oil.
No need for ls supplement.

Yes it is okay. In fact, 75w90 will be an improvement in cold weather.

Replacing the first 2 digits with a lighter viscosity is okay, but I would never substitute the second 2 or 3 digits with a lower viscosity.

Right now I am using 80w90 in my car which calls for SAE90.
