1983 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60

My 12 year old son and I are flying out to the middle of nowhere Texas to pick up this beauty tomorrow morning. We'll be driving it 500 miles back to Kansas City. It's a 1983 FJ60 with 154k miles. It's in really nice shape, not perfect, but a great baseline for a fun project. It will be our family summer camping truck. This will be my 2nd Land Cruiser, but first FJ60.

I like land cruisers, at least up the the late 90s. Probably a lot more spartan and simple than my brother’s fjz80, which I like a lot. Should be a great fun vehicle! I love the new car pickup road trip! Enjoy and post photos!
