'18 dodge journey 2.4 oil & filter ???'s

have...'18 dodge journey 2.4
had...'15 jeep patriot 2.4

are oil (chrysler spec ms-6395 5w-20) & filters (eg: fram ph10060) the same for both? I have oil & filters leftover from jeep...thanks

Ph 10060 is correct according to Fram website. You can verify other filter numbers by going to the Fram website. I would assume oil spec would be about the same. Best to check the owner's manual.

I had issues finding the right filter for my 19 prius but champ lab's website was up-to-date, complete and, presumably, spot-on.

10060 is the correct number, MS6395 is the correct spec.
Im not sure if this model suggested 0w20 or not, either way 5w20 will be fine if it does

turns out it is the same engine as my Patriot with slight tweak for increased performance (1 hp & 1 ft-lb torque increase...lol); using a 4-speed auto transmission seems to have improved drivability vs the 6-speed auto trans in my Patriot (less non-optimized shifting up & down); the oil spec is 5w-20 ms6395 with a caveat...5w-30 ms6395 when 5w-20 is not available
