I have an 14" aftermarket open air airfilter with drop base (ca 1/2"). Heigth is 2". I think 2" is too little, and will raise it to hood limit (Performer Rpm manifold)

2,5" heigth is ok (max 3") and I found airfilter from Fram CA 342 and Purolator A 60102. But they are too thick. They dont fit inside airfilter-housin They are O.D. minus I.D. (13,91" minus 11.63") = 2,28" thick.

Because of the drop base, airfilter-thickness would be max 1,3". Where can I find this? Someone that knew the partnumber?

Since I live in Europe I have to try the most know trademarks like Fram, Purolator, AC Delco.......

I would call up summit racing equipment at 1-330-630-3030. They have tech's who for the most part useally can help you out better then other hi-po mail order companies here in the u.s..

Thank you. I have the Summit catalogue. But since I live in Europe it will cost me 3-8 times the value of filter in shipping/handling fee-cost. And the websites of Fram, Purolator ++ have no searchfunction for airfilters with only airfiltersize-info.

You might go to the Baldwin and K&N sites and look under "CATALOGS & SUPPLEMENTS" -- I know that Baldwin has a listing of oil filters by size (you can find a replacement oil filter by size and thread, rather than by part number). They may also have a similar feature for air filters. If that doesn't work, you might try fabricating a 14" round skeleton of some sort, and wrapping same with a foam filter wrap. Good luck!

Thanks. But I found an Edelbrock filter called type 1217. It si cheap, even here in Norway. Its only delivered in 3" high, but I hope it fits under the hood.
