So, earlier this year I posted how I went to a Valvoline Instant Oil Change with a friend's accord. I didn't pay, of course, but the car was filled with Nextgen conventional.
At that time, the car had 85000 miles on it. The sticker put on the windshield was for 88000 miles.
The owner of this car does not check oil or transmission fluid ... or anything.
I happened to be looking at the car because it was "driving funny" ... aka really soft front tire.
I checked the oil and it was ... quite black and funny feeling. Looked at the sticker on the window, sure enough, the car has not had an oil change. Mileage on the car is 95000. I confirmed that the car had not had an oil change, and it has not.
My understanding is, that at least 1200 of the miles were pure highway.
Wonder if it has started to sludge yet? I would really like to pull a sample for UOA!
