My 96 Sportster has only about 36k miles,way low for a 28 year old....it sat for a number of years. It uses a carburetor and I can still correct most issues which have been few, it has no fancy electronics so no expensive issues there,,,its never been a problem in major issues, same piston and rings and so on...45 mpg and runs well,,,,we ride year around here in Tennessee,,,yes it cold in the winter,,we have adapted for bad weather,,,no snow rides though,lol. whoops, I did have the stator replaced after 28 years,lol....
