0w40 using in 5w20 engine honda pilot 2007 ex

I have honda pilot 2007 ex what to used ester and poa mix i can get it 0w40 half the price of 5w20 i want used ester oil to clean my engine did using 0w40 in 5w20 reccomantion Damage the car i don’t car about mpg . Just want to know what damage can occur using it ?thank you
 
What owners manual recommendations viscosity grade like 5w20 or 5w30 ? Thank you

Yes IIRC Trav might have commented about his experience using Mobil 1 0W40 in that engine with good results. Hopefully he sees this and corrects me if I'm mixing it up with another vehicle.

Your engine needs cleaning? Did you ever show that it did?

Isn't this about the 4th or 5th oil we've all considered here for that car? Please decide on one.

Yes 0w40 works very well in those and Nissan 3.5/3.7 engines as well as others but those two come to mind right off.
