0w20 or 5w20? honda 4cyl

I believe I saw some 0-20 Mobil a month or so ago. As I recall, this was considered "great stuff" well before the 5-20Mobil came out.

I can't find any comparison in this forum.

Is there any reason to believe the 0-20 is a better oil than the 5-20 for my application?
I drive a 2004 Honda CR-V, hilly Tennessee, and cool weather is approaching. Up until now, I have used only Pennzoil conventional 5-20 with PureOne filters.
I have 32,000 on the car.

Either would be fine in Florida.

Tennessee doesn't get so cold either.

Don't think I've read a good shoot out with both oils.

I ran 0w-20 in my Accord 2.4i last winter, however you could run this all year long without issue. In Florida though, I dont think one would be any better than the other.

I'm in Wisconsin and do a lot of short trips (many starts) and the motor does not have a chance to get hot, so I'll be running 0w-20 all year long after the next OC. And really just for the slightly better cold flow properties with so many cold starts each day.

If memory serves, the oil originally came out for hybrids which turn the motor on and off constantly. But now its being called out more often, and is safe to use anywhere 5w-20 is called out.

Also: I can't remember where I saw this oil.... can anyone tell me what stores carry it?

Honda has their own 0W-20 oil. I have seen it at the dealer. I do not know the price. It is their standard recommendation for the Accord hybrid.

Supposedly Pennzoil Platinum comes in a 0w-20 but I've yet to see any on the store shelves.

I run Pennzoil Platinum 0w20 in my Mazda3. Actually the viscosity is not much different compared to 5w20. See this chart.

Wal-Mart sells it for $5.68 or more. I used it in my Civic. Car ran fine, I recommend it. PP does come in that weight; you have to buy it online and it's more expensive than 5w20 PP.
