03 Honda CRV Fuel Filter questions

Yes it has a fuel filter but it's located in the tank with the pump. Don't worry about it unless your having issues. My 08 Civic is the same 247.000 miles original fuel pump and filter.

Yes it does have a filter, no it's not serviceable - it's a lifetime filter, it's part of the fuel pump module in the fuel tank.
You will need to change the fuel pump to change the filter.

Edit; I see it was answered as I was writing

I once bought a fuel filter for a vehicle from Rock Auto. Gave it to a Indie shop to replace. They looked around and said the listing in RockAuto was wrong and there was no serviceable filter.

I dropped the gas tank twice in a 1993 Suburban to replace the fuel pump. The fuel left and inside of the tank was pristine. My hands were the only thing dirty.

Interesting. We have a 2003 CRV and I never thought about this. Kinda odd as I used to own a VW diesel and was supposed to change the fuel filter every 20k (or was it 40k? I think I changed it every 40k, as it seemed like it was getting changed way too often).

Our two Camry's went over 200k on original fuel filters. I'm just not sure if late model cars that get driven regularly need fuel filter changes--all bets off if sat, tank got rusty, or you were dumping who knows what into the tank for old gas.

If you want something to worry about, worry about the exhaust camshaft, lol. Don't ask me know I know...

Have you adjusted the valves? Needs that what, every 100k?
