Are you using a quality oil filter? I have a friend in Kuwait that had similar noise on his Mitsu and it turned out to be the oil filter.

MC FL400.. plenty of oil pressure. It's not the lifters all of them popped up when I loosened the lifters. I guess time to tear it apart. Can't tell where it's coming from for a pointer. Wondering if it's one of the valve seats... or camshaft bearing?
Started pulling it back apart tonight. Sent a email to the company and they think there could be a piece that was still left in the intake.. a friend of mine thinks the valve seats wasn't ground correctly. It could of been ticking and I mistakened it for the fuel injectors. 180-200 across all cylinders.
