Update on 1 of 2 of my daily drivers. Still getting mostly highway miles. Switched from what folks believed was Castrol Edge synthetic (7.5k) that a quick lube put in to Mobil 1 0w40.

Between the two oil changes this almost ran out the oil life monitor (2675 liters of fuel) over ~18k miles. I think I may have topped up a quart about 5k miles in with a quart of Castrol Edge that I had lying around, 0w30 I'm guessing.
Like what I'm seeing here, copper stayed the same, Iron showed up (typical Mobil 1 wear?). Add pack still seems strong to me.
Had the valve cover off again to rebuild the Vanos seals. There was some darker gunk around the Vanos solenoids that I didn't notice before. I put in Delvac 15w40 for a shorter run, though from the looks of the additive pack on this oil change...it will be hard to beat Mobil 1.
