You can also do 5k comfortably on the ST SYN Blend as well with zero worries. Using FS at 5k is waste.

Meh. I use Pro Selects almost exclusively now. I'm not worried about efficiencies. I cut a few open after an OCI. They looked fine. I use them from 5k to 10k miles.

Perform? What do you expect this oil to do -make your engine sing? It's motor oil. It will do what any other motor oil will do.

There is no significant difference (read zero) for the 1 or 2 seconds where there is no oil flowing after an oil change which usually happens about twice a year.
