Interesting though, the batteries appear to be the exact same battery from the same mfg. The plastic casings are absolutely identical and both say made in Mexico...

We actually have a few cats (won’t disclose number) and have that exact fountain. Some use it and some only will drink out of the bowl. The theory with the fountain is that cats/animals like running water but I don’t believe that that is true for all.

They’re human. I definitely think boredom plays into a lot of it. An argument with the wife, etc. Life’s daily events dictate a lot of our actions…..I believe.

Cops get bored on the job and when you’re a young cop esp in the middle of Possum Flats, USA, he probably was bored out of his mind and you gave him something to do.
