    F150 Ecoboost towing 14K up 6% grade

The EcoBoost engine is pretty stout. However I don't think I saw anyone mention that this truck is running a "5 star tow tune" which is in the description of the video. This is not a stock truck so it's not a good comparison.

Does fuel quality matter for DI ?

I always run Top Tier gas in my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0T. I buy from Costco 98% of the time. Here is what my owner's manual says regarding Top Tier: Fuel Additives HYUNDAI recommends that you use good quality gasolines treated with detergent additives such as TOP TIER Detergent...

2017 Hyundai Sonata 2.0T - First Oil Change

I recommend using Pennzoil Platinum 5W-30. That's what I currently use in my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0T. It meets all of the requirements in the manual (A5) and can be found for a very reasonable price. It can also be found at many places.

Past 5 years of small SUV

I recommend a Hyundai Tucson or if you want slightly bigger go with the Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. Both are great vehicles that get a lot of features for the money. The build quality is great and the warranty is fantastic.

    Oil choice for Hyundai Veloster

I have a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport with the 2.0T engine. I recommend using Pennzoil Platinum 5W-30 with a Hyundai OEM filter every 5K. PP 5W-30 meets all of the requirements that Hyundai requires for this engine. Also it can be had at a very low price with the current $2/quart rebate in place...

New car in the stable: '16 KIA Optima SXL Turbo

I have a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport Ultimate with the same 2.0 turbo engine as your Kia. After doing lots of reading, I've decided to go with OEM Hyundai/Kia filters and Pennzoil Platinum 5W-30. First oil change at 3,000 miles and then every 5,000 miles after that. PP meets the ACEA 5...

    Costco Battery Warranty

I think most every Costco stocks batteries in store only. They don't show any of the batteries on the website. You could always call your local Costco to see if they have the battery you need in stock.

Jelly like substance-bottom of water heater??

My 50 gallon gas water heater had the same clear-like jelly substance at the bottom of it when I drained it out. I had no idea what it was and had never seen it before. I made sure to flush it out very good. It's always a good idea to flush it out every year to keep the sediment out. I recently...

Three Month Review of My 2013 Passat TDI SE

Great review! Our family loves VW TDIs. We've owned seven in our family over the years. No, they aren't perfect but no car really is. The TDI returns great fuel mileage, high torque, and they are fun to drive. I'm glad to see more diesels offered in passenger cars in the USA.

vw 505.1 spec, must have or not?

Rotella T6 is a fantastic oil for your TDI. We've had 7 TDIs in our family ranging from 2001-2006 and Rotella T6 is a great oil for them all. I run mine at 10K intervals. I usually use Mann filters.

    Cat Filter Video

Awesome video! I've set up a CAT fuel filter system with a Nicktane adapter on my parent's 2007 Duramax. The CAT filers are constructed very well. The CAT filters are much easier to change vs the factory GM filters and are much cheaper as well.
