Car making lots of noise. Very strange.

Yep. Definately the bearings. I took my car to a tire shop to get some stuff done and I got everything done except an alignment due to my bearings on the front drivers side. Also the axle on the front passenger needs replacing, badly, so that's gonna be an expensive job. Money money money makees...

Car making lots of noise. Very strange.

I noticed that car has been making very loud to moderately loud noises while im on the road. I dont know if it has to do with my engine having a 5W-30 synthetic oil in this 95-106 degree weather during the day or if its something else. Also I noticed my breaks werent working as good as they were...

Is this because of the innacurate gas meter?

I notice that sometimes when my car sits overnight and I use it in the morning or whenever that my gas meter shows that I have a little less gas than the night before. I don't have a gas leak underneath at all so im puzzled. Is my gas cap wearing and causing some fuel to evaporate out overnight?

Was this the Regane or MMO?

I added a bottle of Regane to the fuel about 140 miles ago but I only noticed a slight improvement with the way the car ran until today. It actually suprised me a bit. Does it usually take Regane that long to actually kick in? And when I changed my oil about 500 miles ago with PP I added a pint...

    Better MPG with Shell

I just refilled yesterday. I calculated 34 mpg to my usual 32. I picked up an application for Shell's "Drive For 5" gas cards while I was at it.

    Pennzoil on Sale at WalMart

Picked up 5W-30 PP for $15 and changed my oil. It just about fixed my cold start problems. So far atleast. The car cranks up and sounds ready to go on one try. Hopefully itll stay that way.

    Better MPG with Shell

I filled up with a little over 7 gallons at Shell yesterday and, even though my gauge gets innacurate at some point, it seems the gas gauge isnt goin' down as fast as it would with Exxon or Chevron. I'll see what my gas mileage is compared to when I get inbetween 32 and 33 mpg with Chevron and...

    Dang Gas Prices

Yesterday I went to an Exxon at a close neighboring city and paid $2.62. The Chevron about a half mile away was $2.61. Their prices are always lower than my cities. I paid $2.69 at an Exxon in my city. Highest price in my town is $2.78(ripoff really the rest of the Shell's are cheaper) at a...
