    BMW targets counterfeit parts

this is why I buy my BMW parts from Pelican. Cheaper than the dealer sometimes, but at least I know I'm getting what I'm paying for.

    Rear Sway Bar/Front Strut Brace

so far, I haven't seen anyone ask what the end goals for this car are. If its just for a better feel of the car on on/off ramps etc, I say go for it IF you're going to keep the car for a while. If you're trading it in in a year, why bother? I'd like to do this to my crown vic, as I drive it...

    '02 Buick century symptoms

I may not be a seasoned mechanic, but I know my way around the engine bay with wrenches and torque wrenches. I'd be budgeting at least 3 days if not 4 to do it right.

    '02 Buick century symptoms

Trying to figure this out for my mom. She has an 02 Buick century that has apparently been leaking coolant. They took it to pep boys and they say they found traces of oil in the coolant and are saying that it needs an intake manifold gasket? Would this be correct? I was thinking about doing this...

    Tires for BMW M3

Thanks prizm. Taking a look around that site, they have a lot of different brands. I am looking for summer tires as the car wont be driven hard during the winter... (too much [censored] salt and sand this state is loving to use for its emergency responses to snow) Then main thing I'm looking...

    Tires for BMW M3

I'm having a difficult time deciding which tires to go with on this car. I understand its not a 'square' set up. with 225/45/17 up front and 245/40/17s out back. This car is a weekend fun car. So I'm not that concerned with longevity all though I don't want a tire that will be dead after a...

    97 M3 and 5w40?

Thanks again for the comments guys. This car probably won't go past 5k oil change intervals. I really opted for the Rotella for its detergent properties as this car is a 'fixer' for me. I hope to NEVER let this car go. I will be seeking out M1 0w40 for my next OCI. I'm sure I can find it, I just...

    97 M3 and 5w40?

Thanks for the replies guys. Mongo, I tried two different walmarts (the two biggest ones in the area) and neither had 0w-40. I went ahead and got the 5w40 as I thought I read somewhere, that the diesel oils have more detergent properties. If that's true then I will most likely have a squeaky...

    97 M3 and 5w40?

Hey all! I was wondering if this was OK to use? I bought the M3 used of course, pretty sure the previous owner was going by the OLM in the car as it has some gunk visible through the fill hole. I was thinking Rotella 5w40? I saw some people on other forums using it in there vehicles, but I trust...
