I have the same BMW motorcycle and run the PureOne PL10241 filter with no issues. I think some of my local AA stores carry the 72161 and 3330. Use any of the above filters and you'll be fine. p.s. have you visited chromeheads.org ?

Those truck tire carcasses are designed to be retreaded. I'm not sure there is an expiration date on them though, like on passenger car tires.

Some of my on-line BMW buddies are riding on the rt 66 tires and are quite happy with them. I almost bought a set myself, but when it came down to it I elected to go with the Metzler 880's again. I have had great luck with the Metz. fyi- Pirelli makes the Metz tires.

I'm running M1 5W-30 in my '07 GT. So far nothing bad to report. You should be OK running Edge, just pickup one more quart first.

Really? Want to expound on that? Nothing wrong with MC oil or filters as far as I know.

I ride 1 Japanese bike and 1 German one.

My bike red lines at 6700 rpm, about the same as most cars. I don't think I need to worry about maxing out the filter because of that. I can however see where that could be a valid concearn.
