Ok I found the Rear Differential and what looks like the drain and fill plugs. However i cant for the life of me locate the Transfer case. Also is there any real difference between M1 75-90 and the Amsoil Severe Gear one?

Has anyone done a Transfer Case/Differential Fluid Change on this vehicle? I am looking to do mine on my AWD but cant find any documentation or write ups for where the drain/fill plugs are

Wife's truck, 05 Ford Freestyle, has 80k on it. I usually use either PP or M1 with a M1 filter depending on what is on sale. change every 5k to 7500k. Doesnt burn oil, no real issues, all highway miles, Should i switch to a HM oil or would it do nothing?

i will see what happens with this change with PP. if i dont like it again i will just stick to M1. The PP runs great in the wifes car and ran great in the first change here. It could have been other factors. will see how it goes. just wanted to vent guys, thanks for listening

Yes i always use the M1 Filter for those changes. I usually get it on a deal, otherwise i would use like a pureone. Yes I did refill with PP
