I'm having a real hard time finding wiper blades that consistently work nicely. I've used Trico Innovision, which didn't last long and the Trico Teflon not really pleased.

Anybody have good suggestions? I would be willing to pay a premium if I could get consistent performance from them. It's for the Accord in my sig.

Brands I have to chose from are Bosch, Trico Neoform, Armor All, Rain X and store brands. Any other brands I should be looking at?

I just treated my windshield with Aquapel so we will see how that works too.

I've had excellent luck with Rain-X Weatherbeaters. I'm going on 2 years on my current pair and they still work like new. I bought a set of Bosch Icons on sale to replace them but I haven't had the need yet.

I spent the bucks for a pair of the Rain-X Latitude (curved beam style) wipers for my Silverado in the Spring of 2008. I'm still using them, and really like them.

In the winter (December, January, February, March), I use a set of Anco Winter blades. This will be their third winter of use.

However, my truck is garaged. That's likely why my wiper blades are lasting a long time.

The only blades I have ever thought were good are from Silblade. The blade elements are solid silicone and are made in New York (I think the frames are imported, though).

I started using them in 2005 in Wisconsin. They worked great all year long, and they last forever. I haven't replaced any yet.

They are inexpensive at Amazon--maybe about $12 per blade. It's a good deal for a blade that will probably last longer than whatever car it gets put on.

Bosch Icon and Trico Neoform have worked very well on my vehicles. I had a set of Bosch Icons last over two years on my daily driver.

I have the regular Rain-X blades. They were perfect at first, then became noisy after the first 6-months. Someone at Auto Zone said to apply rubbing alcohol. Now they are once again like new (quiet) and do a great job of cleaning the window.

The longer lasting I use so far from those brands, is Bosch frameless
Silicon blades are also lasting, but silicon has inherit problem of juddering if your windshield has lots of dirt.

I've had good luck with Bosch silicone wiper blades, they're hard to beat but not cheap. However, I find the best value for money wiper blades to be Motorcraft. They're manufactured by Trico (stamped on the steel frame), but are better made. It's also neat when the blades turn yellow, indicating their need of replacement.

I have always liked anco. I have been using the Rain-X latitudes for the last 18 months and they are great. I am trying the Trico Neoform's next as i have heard good things about them. Next i will probably try the anco contours

i've had excellent results with motorcraft, i don't know who makes them for motorcraft, but for the money can't go wrong

Last week, i bought a pair of autozone blades, for my 95 neon. Ive used lots of blades over time, belive me! Belive it or not, the autozone blades way overperformed trico blades. I really really liked anco blades, thier almsot indestructable and work even if going bad...but my local autozone discontuned them: (
they have rain x, an entiree line of BOSCH wipers, autozone, and valuecraft.

I have been happy with the NeoForm blades--much better than the Bosch Teflon I had before. On my car, the blades are kind of squished when in the off/storage position, so I may be getting reduced life from all blades for that reason.

I liked trico teflons on my old car.

Aquapel, Rain-X, etc, has always caused wiper problems with my cars. If you're getting that really annoying skipping & smearing of the wiper blade, that is your culprit.

my 08 passat is the first car I have avoid all those stuff like the plague and I get none of the skipping & smearing of my other cars. On that car, I use OE Bosch.

Valeo blades are good also. Amazon.com has a sale on them.
