I have a fairly high mileage 2002 VW Passat 1.8t, & was thinking of trying the Mobil 1 10w40 H.M. oil. It has 126,000 miles on it now & has had Mobil 0w40 all of it's life. Anyone had any luck with this oil for this application? I saw it in 5 quart jugs at WalMart cheap. ($23.00). Thanks

I've read references of people using "maintenance doses" of AutoRx when changing oil, approximately 4 oz. My question is/are, do you use it at the initial fill and run it for the full length of the oil use, or later on during the interval and just run it for 2-3k miles? Thanks
