Anyone using M1 Truck & SUV in a Toyota 4 Cylinder?

I’ve been running M1 0w40 Euro in our Pontiac Vibes (Toyota 1.8L). Thinking of switching it up to M1 T&S in 5w30. Saw video with Lake stating how good this stuff is.

    What’s your favorite anti-seize aerosol?

I already have the brush-on anti-seize. Just wondering what aerosols are good. Mainly for spraying the part of the hubs where the rotors mount or and wheels mount.

Went to the dark side last Saturday! 😬😁

Finally got our first EV! 2024 Model 3 Performance. I’ve driven our family’s Model YP previously quite a bit and loved it so I finally pulled the trigger. We have solar and a 30 amp charger already installed so i figured why not. This thing is a rocket and I love the overall looks, especially...

Best glue to bond metal and plastic

All of my old standing electric fans are loose/wobbly at the base. Would like to just permanently attach the metal pole to the plastic base. Anything better for this than JB Weld?

    Who makes Supertech Coolant nowadays?

I doubt I’ll ever go 5-10 years on coolant. Just wondering who makes ST nowadays. Is this the same as the old school green stuff?

With oil so advanced now, can freshly built engines be broken in with synthetic?

Probably a dumb question, but I see a lot of newer cars are factory filled with synthetic. Would this be ok to do on a freshly built old school V8? I doubt I would ever do it, but just curious. Also, what is the latest info on properly breaking in a newly built motor. I’ve seen so many different...

Anyone compare CAT Power Stations/Battery Jumpers from Costco?

I’ve have this CAT #CJ1000DXT Power Station for the past few years and it’s been great, but definitely bulky and heavy. I wonder how it compares in performance to the newer CAT Lithium Power Station #PPSCL3 from Costco. Physically it is tiny and very lightweight in comparison. Old model New...

About to run Euro 0w40 on Buick 455

Ok I’m about to do the yearly oil change on my Buick. It has a 455 with a mild hydraulic flat tappet cam. I know from previous posts and reading threads that it should be fine with running just the M1 Euro 0w40. My question is, can I mix some maybe M1 Delvac1 5w40 or V-Twin 20w50 to give it a...

What y’all recommend for a 2010 Dodge Caravan?

So my niece has a 2010 Dodge Caravan with 167k miles that burns some oil. It’s one of their daily drivers that does a lot of short local trips. They have been getting oil changes done at Walmart and by the windshield sticker it looks like a 5w20 blend is what they’ve been putting in it. It’s...

I know Mobil1 Euro 0w40 has been one of the best versatile oils

Ok so I know M1 Euro 0w40 has been on top of everyone’s list for being a really good all around oil and very affordable from Walmart. Also like that the majority of M1 oils also have 1000 ppm of zinc or better. Lately the M1 0w40 has been constantly out of stock at my two local Walmarts. So I’m...

Just had some Mohave CUV tires installed on our ‘22 Crosstrek

My wife racked up 40k mi. on this thing already! Mohave’s look pretty decent. Made in UK I believe. We’ll see how they do. I inspected the brake pads and had them inflate the spare to proper psi. 225/55R18 All Weather tires were $626.96 OTD.

Inexpensive octane boosters from the local auto parts stores and Walmart

I gas up all our cars at the nearby Costco. We only have 91 octane here in California. I’d like to bump it up to at least 93 octane for one of my cars. I see so many different brands on the shelves. Any recommendations?

Subaru Branded Oil Filters at Walmart? Hmmmm MP7317?

I was at Walmart today and saw a Subaru oil filter on the shelf for the first time. I opened it up and said hmmm this looks very familiar! I pulled a SuperTech MP7317 off the shelf and compared them. I knew it! 😂 C’mon now Subaru! We can get the better ST MP for almost 1/2 the price!!

Extended Performance, High Mileage, or Euro oils. Better choice?

This is specifically for our ‘22 Subaru Crosstrek and ‘07 Pontiac Vibe which my wife daily drives to see patients a throughout the day. She sits in the cars while documenting so they idle for long periods of time with the AC on. Also, they’re turned on and off like a dozen times a day. I do 5k...
