    Trust Rhino Ramps?

Bought a set of 16Ks last winter. I've used them for about 5 oil changes. I trust and will continue to use them.

Review of Dupont's new teflon lubricants

AMC, have you used any of the lubes on car hinges? Lubed the doors of our '98 Century this afternoon and used white lithium grease. It's a bit messy even with controlled application with an aerosol can. Wondering if one of the DuPont products might work well on auto hinges.

    New Snow Blower for XMAS

I bought a CubCadet (MTD) snow thrower a few years back. It has a MTD POWERMORE engine manufactured to their specs in China. So far no problems. Did my 5 hour OCI (Mobil 1 OW-30) and its going strong. Time will tell how it will hold up but I plan on taking care of it.

    Purolator Synthetic - worth considering?

I'll be sticking with either the Purolator Classic or PureOne. I don't plan on 10K OCIs and can't justify that price tag.

    problems with syn power

Did my first OC on our 2011 CR-V back in July (had taken it to dealer for OCs before Jul.) Went with Pennzoil Platinum 0W-20 and a NAPA Gold (aka Wix) filter. Been running rough ever since. Should be due for another OC in Jan, going with SynPower 0W-20 and a PureOne filter, hopefully this...

    Black Friday GearWrench sets

Been eyeing GearWrench ratcheting combo wrenches for a while now. Sears had a great Black Friday sale. Picked up a 32-piece SAE/METRIC (6 stubby) and (2) 7-piece flex head sets (SAE/Metric)for $155 after sale price and additional savings. Next wrench purchase will be a couple flare nut wrench...

    walbro wt series carb help

I've been looking for info on the WT series carb over the last few days. I found a WT series service manual on their site but no docs specific to model number. I'm running a WT-875-A Mine dies during idle. Yesterday I discovered that there was too much oil in the air filter (not 2-cycle oil but...

How often do you guys run your small engines???

I don't start them during storage. I treat all my OPE gas with SeaFoam so I don't fog before storage and store them wet. Change the oil while the engine's still hot after the first mow in the spring.

Change mower oil now or in spring?

After the 1st mow in the spring while the engine (and oil) is still hot.

    Spray lube for rubber bushings?

Something like this may suit your needs. Used it on my last brake job, seems to be pretty durable stuff.

Using A Good Filter on a Short OCI

Glad I found this thread. I'm switching our '98 century to 5W-30 synthetic with a NAPA Gold filter. I was debating a platinum filter but it seems overkill for a 5K OCI.

    3 ton floor jack

If you go with the Harbor Freight Jack, check the fluid level before first use and consider replacing it with Bars Leaks hydraulic jack fluid. Who knows what kind of fluid they use at the factory. I'm happy with the Arcan 3.25 ton floor jack I picked up at Costco last spring. Appears they now...

What 2 cycle oil are you running and why?

I have an Echo trimmer and a Craftsman blower. the former is 50:1, the latter 40:1. This season I bought a quart of Lucas semi synthetic 2-cycle oil. Picked up a syringe type dispenser for the oil and I mix 1/4 Gal at a time. Been working great thus far.
