So HF has their 3 ton floor jack for $69 this Fri-Sun and Sams has the Torin 3.5 ton jack for an everyday price of $89.

Neither is the quality of OTC which I think would be double the price.

I have a Sears floor jack for most of the time. This would be mainly for the Bobcat. So weight is not that much of an issue.

I have one of the HF 3 ton jacks, it is one of the old orange and white models. It is about 7 years old now and still works fine, never had any trouble with it at all, have not even had to add any oil to it. I paid $50.00 or $60.00 for it on sale. I would say try using a 20% off coupon and getting it even cheaper.

I don't know how much you will be using whatever jack you buy but my old HF jack works great. I think it has about a 23 or close to 24 inch lift on it. Good value for the price. I don't know anything about Torin. I have an old trolley jack I bought years ago at AAP, back when they were still called Discount Auto Parts, I think it is a Torin. The trolley jack still works but it leaks oil.

Check Pep Boys since they have a sale on tools. Got 2-11 piece combo open end/box wrench sets one metric and one standard for 5$ ea. One time I got 2 sets with a real nice 3/8" ratchet & maybe 20 sockets, half metric and half standard by Good Year Racing for 4$ ea.

Another time I picked up a Turin 2 ton floor jack, with jack stands and a creeper from them for 34$. Think I have seen just the jack there for around 25$. Jack was a little low on oil, Added some and it has works fine.

I got a good 3 or 3.5 ton craftsman floor service jack. Chinese like HF and very heavy; 98 lbs IIRC.

What I mostly wanted was the single handle that one twists to lower... without pulling it from one socket to stuff on an adjacent valve.

I do love it. Was $68 with stacked coupons and sales.

I'm happy with the Arcan 3.25 ton floor jack I picked up at Costco last spring. Appears they now carry the 2.5 Ton Hybrid Steel Aluminum Service Jack.

I'd like an Arcan. I have no close by COSTCO, only Sams and BJs.

if you go HF get one of the heavy duty all steel with 4 roller ones. or the lo-profile.

dont get their alum. jacks they are terrible unless you get the 200$+ one.

I found an almost new Craftsman 2 1/4 ton floor jack & jack stands for $40. I wanted a 3 ton.

The Bobcat weighs about 6500 and I would imagine I would never lift more than 1/2, so this should be OK. So even at 7000 lbs, half is 3500 and the jack can handle 4500.
