I'm investigating how to get on the dole. It's a growth industry.

Someone asked whether the southern Europeans were happier than us and why we have to be protectors of the world. Those Europeans are happier than we are, and I hope they continue to be when we no longer protect them. Talk about "fair share"!

We have an aging demographic. As people age they tend, for the most part, to decrease their spending. If this is not true, we are in great shape.

In my experience, once you've run a battery down until you need a jump start, a few times , it's a short matter of time until you'll need a new one. I'd bring a transistor radio to listen to and I'd also double check that the doors are completely closed when I leave the car as the inside lights...

I think cars should come with more screens and gadgets to distract drivers from the purpose for which they are in the driver's seat. Maybe the texting keyboard could be incorporated into the radio? We all need to pay higher insurance rates. There should be little accountability. Sorry about...

The subway engineer, who killed a guy thrown on the tracks last week, was astonished at the number of people who were taking photos with their phones and not rushing to help this poor soul as the train arrived. I think this says it all.
