    1150 miles in. The oil level has dropped back to full and it no longer smells like kreen anymore. Here's a pick of the stick. Pretty clean. Added another 1/2 qt to he gas and oil.

    I disagree completely with the fill hole doesn't matter story. You can pretty much bet the farm your engine is pretty clean! If we compiled all the things people say doesn't matter than the end result is nothing matters, life is just a dream and we are just an imagination of ourselves. Anyway...

    It's been 3.5 years since my last oil change.

    I would change it with a HDEO and extended drain filter and then never change it again. Just add to it when its low and change the filter every 5 years or so.

    Okay BITOG, time for synthetic?

    If it were mine I would swich to M1 high mileage 5 or 10/30. It will clean any deposits left behind and help slow any oil consumption, not to mention its a little thicker and will help make up the difference in worn bearings. Make your first oci 3k and then go 5k after that for a few oil changes.
