How’d that explain mine? My filter is has it facing up

I just installed a 84356 on my crv and now I’m getting a start up rattle every once in a while…may have to return the rest and stick with Fram

I know it’s cheaper to produce filters overseas; but why not just keep it in the USA if you’re located in Memphis?

Looks like Premium Guard is taking over the store brand filter department everywhere now. No issue with this, except what Napa is charging…but that’s nothing new

This filter was on my 2014 CRV 2.4 for about 3k using Valvoline R+P. Filter seems dark for 3k but the grit in the filter shows the oil is doing something. I again used Valvoline R+P but went with a Carquest Blue 84356. I’ll run this combo again for 3k

When I had my 96 s10 with the 4.3, I ran the Fram TG3980 with no issues.

I haven’t checked yet it’ll have to wait for a weekend.

Would you go 6 or 7 thousandths on the intake?

Just loud when it starts. When it warms up the noise goes away. Has over 100k and it’s never been checked

I have 5 champ xl with all nitrile…I’m debating on just tossing them

I just cut open a Microgard select 12090 and one of the metal end caps had separated from the glue. Not a huge issue since the spring keeps everything tight
