    so the issue is a bit complicated. in my size 255/55/18 they do not make a CC or a CC2. They make a CCSUV however it does not show up in the Michelin system because it is a tire that is only sold to discount dealers like tire rack, discount tire direct, sams club, walmart, etc...

    For what its worth... I just spoke to a person at Michelin and was told that the CrossClimate and CrossClimate SUV are NOT 3PMSF rated tires however the CrossClimate 2 IS 3PMSF rated. They do not make the CC2 in my size. I guess I will go with the Goodyears.

    yes, bought spark plugs, plenum gasket , valve cover gaskets and a spark plug tube seals.... I may need a few bags of rags to clean out the sludge. A friend who did this job went through two cases of brake cleaner and a bunch of wire brushes and scrapers cleaning out the sludge in the rear head...

    yes I know they make good products but believe alot is spent on Advertising, Bridgestone also comes to mind. I believe I can find a quality tire that meets or exceeds my needs that also comes with a sizeable cost reduction compared to Michelin and Bridgestone.

    do all manufactures require tires to be sold by an authorized seller for the warranties to be valid? I thought all they needed was a receipt showing the install date and mileage.
