If it was a "poor core seal" LSI would have changed it in 2015, the year they bought Frantz. I have never seen a tp roll worth using that had a core size of 1 3/4" or larger, it all soft Charmin bear paper with big cores to make the rolls look larger on the store shelf.

It's not really difficult or some kind of rocket science to fit the larger core paper into a Frantz, it's not the core size of the paper, it's more sizing the paper that they mess up, getting the right outside diameter, some of them need to buy the manufacturer sourced elements.

Your paper should be put in a sock so you can't see the wrinkles, lol

It fits perfect, 1 5/8" id, 1 3/4" od paper core on 1.8" Frantz seal.

Poor core seal flat out works.

I sent this picture to James @ Jackmaster, he commented that the imprint was showing a strong pressure differential.

No wrinkles here with Frantz and 2 port sandwich adapter.

Plug that hole you drilled in the sandwich adapter and get the most pressure differential it can deliver.

Drive is split 60/40, 60% is through the inner direct shaft, 40% is cushioned by the torque convertor, it will always be a lot harsher than other transmissions going in and out of drive, follow Ripcords advice, set it by the manual, I think they advise 0 psi, 5 psi worked great for me.

You should see the outer portion/edge of the wagon wheel.

I zoomed your picture 10x, there is no outside imprint from the wagon wheel, if you think its there then believe what you want, I cannot see whats not there. I do see a wrinkle all the way from top to bottom, you might say it's not there.

You should be able to see the outside imprint of the wagon wheel, it's not there, I think you may have put the paper in too tight on this one, wrinkles shouldn't be there. I use a ribbon tape on the outside to size the paper as I don't trust my feel and it worked for me, it's consistant, Frantz...

The imprint is deeper on the core seal than on the wagon wheel spokes? Must be the thickness of the washer.

Yeah, it's the trifecta of atf filtering, I am sure the depth of the Motor Guard can handle it all on it's own.
