Asus RT-AC66U B1 wifi speeds vs WIRED speeds with NEW Modem and New Plan (Spectrum 1GB)

Its still wifi 5, 99% of all clients are only 2x2 your not going to do much better then 500-600 mbps with that i don't care what router it is. Plus the AC66U B1 only has a 1ghz processor by todays routers thats slow.

Asus RT-AC66U B1 wifi speeds vs WIRED speeds with NEW Modem and New Plan (Spectrum 1GB)

Latest firmware can be found here. There was a major security update just released even though it is EOL. Kudos to Asus. https://www.asus.com/networking-iot-servers/wifi-routers/asus-wifi-routers/rt-ac66u-b1/helpdesk_bios?model2Name=RT-AC66U-B1

Asus RT-AC66U B1 wifi speeds vs WIRED speeds with NEW Modem and New Plan (Spectrum 1GB)

About 500 MBPS is all you will get with wifi 5 routers using wireless. Not to mention your AC66 is listed as End Of Life by Asus and should be replaced.

    Dead throttle pedal

It's likely the pedal itself. I remember when i worked for a Honda dealer we had this issue several times and replacing the pedal fixed it. It's an electronic issue. Worth looking into.

    True synthetics

I was always told if the bottle don't say 100% synthetic it's not true syn. 99.8% of widely available syn simply just says full synthetic.

    Valvoline Restore & Protect

I am on my second fill of VRP 5w20 and although i see no difference in anything i also see no reason not to run it. Its butter smooth and lubricates just as well as any other syn i have used. Good product and the price is good.

If thin oils are bad then Toyota is stupid?

Lets make no mistake. ALL car makers quality fell off a cliff since covid-19 and i doubt it will ever get much better any time soon.

I seen many many Honda's at my old dealer with 400.000 plus miles all ran 0w20 the entire time.

Recommend an access point with best range?

All home routers by design are cheap trust me. As far as antenna design they all use the very same basic thing a small dipole antenna in cased in a plastic housing very little gain because they need to be omni directional. Again the FCC has the ERP clamped antenna gain is part of there...

Recommend an access point with best range?

The laws of physics will only allow so much range on any given power level. All routers in the US are locked down to a determined power level by the FCC. That said of course some may be slightly better than others from a configuration standpoint but don't expect any big differences no matter...

    Castrol Edge Extended Performance 0W20

Thats the old formula. The new Castrol EP gold bottle is 25000 miles. No idea if there is a difference. I just wish Walmart would stock this again.
