If there's a Costco in your area, give them a shot. They usually have Chevron Supreme in case quantities for around $10-$11.

Costco carries Chevron Supreme (and Delo too). If there's one in your neck-of-the-woods, give it a look.

This bad boy will handle your every filter removal need : It's actually a ChannelLock PVC pipe wrench, but I've never found anything that does a better job on oil filters.

Amen. All the Costcos I've been in carry it - and usually in 5W-30, 10W-30 and 10W-40 weights. Give or take $10/case.

I'll agree with J. I have a '00 Tundra with the I-force V8, and run Mobil1 10W-30 at 5000 mile intervals with Penske (Wix) filters.

For all you Chevron Supreme fans that live in areas with Kragen/Checker/Shucks Auto Parts Stores, they're currently running a coupon special on the stuff: $.69/qt. with mail-in rebate. Otherwise, Costco always has it in 5W-30, 10W-30, and 10W-40 for about $11.00 a case.

The Wal-Mart here also usually has Castrol GTX in 5 qt. jugs.

Castrol MaxPro and Penske (K-mart) are also made by Wix.
