An M1 Garand lend/lease korean. NEW springfield 4 groove barrel. And an original bandlier of clips WITH ammo, including on clip of AP and one clip of incindiery I'm happy. I'll post pics in a day or two when I get done with my rav4 project.

Drain oil. Put drain plug back in. Refill engine. Start engine. Run for a bit. Shut off engine. Perform full oil change. I do this all the time on customer's cars with really nasty oil. The oil count is just a suggestion, right?

I've used brake clean for many years now, with good results.

I just did one of these jobs. Replaced both sensors and knock sensor wire/pigtail. You have to have a pretty darn good oscilloscope to check this properly. and you're already in there anyway. Best to just replace the whole schebang and have the piece of mind about it. So... 2 intake manifold...

Seems a large portion of the population have no respect for the property of others. My cressida has been hit in parking lots 3 times now. It's REALLY hard to find a REALLY straight 89-92 cressida. I had one. Now it's less so. MADDENING!!

I'm in the same boat of wanting a rumpity-rump v8 classic american car. I'm after a Mopar or AMC. Most likely AMC. Marlin, Javelin, Rogue, Rebel, Machine, even a Hornet if it's the right deal.

+1 for the Ruger. I have a MK1 that is a nail driver. If you get a cheap mark2, there are "uppers" available new, with bull barrels, match chambers, etc. The Walther p22 target is a good choice too, but a totally different experience.

The bad gas problems we had a few years ago, was due to an "extra heavy polymer" in the fuel. (according to the fuel company) and was all over the place. They were paying (the oil/gas company) to replace the fuel injectors and drain/fill the tank. We (the shop) replaced TONS of injectors on...
