I was hoping someone would say maxlife since i have a nice stash of it i just thought pyb would be the new contender from what Ive been readin on here lately, If you had to pick between the two....No not crisco... cut me some slack please!

pyb, maxlife semi syn, valvoline white, or other main name brand conventionals. which has the best or highest cleaning detergents...Iknow its on the site somewhere but quick please im headin out to wally mart now! Gonna put it in a slightly neglected 98 tercel. thanx boys.

so what is the consensus gents? do i go back to the old air filter or keep the k&n with gas prices now at $1.24/litre I want to sqeeze every ounce out of that little car that i can, last time I passed emissions it passed with flying colours what would you guys do IF IT WAS YOUR CAR?

Hi guys , got a 96 tercel 148,000km fully tuned up proper generic parts runs great, a while ago installed a k&n air filter in the box. Much more peppy now but shouldnt I still be gettin my regular gas mileage of 530km to a tank instead of my 480 to a tank. Im not hard on the car rarley go over...

I remember when I would change the oil in my tercel and I needed the filter, I would pick up the canadian tire brand cause I knew It was made by fram (now that Im on bitog) Iknow better) anyway I also noticed that the white oil filters were made in china and the black writing on it looked sloppy...

ok ,now you got my attention. Please educate me alittle, from what i can recall ethanol is hard on the fuel pump right? Or what exactly happens? Got a couple mid nineties cars, what do you guys know about this ethanol increase in Canada?

Just picked up five- 5 litre jugs at walmart for $10.88 per jug. with our new hst taxes here in Ont that still works out to $2.48 per litre.For us cannucks thats not bad. Considering supertech 5 or 10w30 is $3.98 per litre! I grabbed whatever they had left .I noticed walmart here in Toronto...
