check out the complaint station . com the toyota sludge problem is the number one complant in this site.. I have a neighbor with a 1998 toyota van ( sienna ) change oil with mobil 1 every 3k -5k miles engine sludged @ about 60k miles .. changed oil himself .. toyota said owner did not changed...
are their any oil filters to avoid when using mobil 1 oil or any non - dino oil .. i know fram is no no .. been using purolator pure one & mobil 1 on my wife's 1999 miata .. thanks for the input
being using castrol gtx 10w-30 in a 99 f-150 4.2l v6.. manual states use 5w-30 .. what (if any) reason should i use say a 10w-40, 15w-40, 20w-50 etc ..my truck has 62000 miles just curious ..
DID YOU CHECK OUT WWW.REDLINEOIL.COM THE HAVE A DIST IN DALLAS & FORT WORTH .. ALSO IF YOU CAN FIND A GEAR OIL THATS 75W90 FOR THE DIFF . AND YOU WOULD NEED A 75W90 GEAR OIL WITHOUT THE NON-SLIP PACKAGE (75W90NS) FOR THE TRANNY..
check out www.miata.net i do not know if they can help with a 626 but alot of people on this site use mobil 1.. with no problems ..my wife's 1999 miata's manual also states use 10w30. buy nothing about dino or syn ..
have 1999 using redline 75w90 in diff.& mt-90 in tranny.. check out miata.net lots of info about miatas...

thanks for the quick reply ..was leaning towards going to synthetic (mobil 1 or redline ) ..the car is kinda of pain to change the oil ..you have to take off the right front wheel to get to the oil filter ..i am 6'5" 300 pounds so even with rhino ramps its a tight squeeze under the car .. and no...

need a little feedback on which tranny fluid to use from redline .. live in south florida so i am leaning towards the mt-90 .. what i have read the gl-4 is better for brass parts but the owners manual states either gl-4 or gl-5 is ok ..thanks for any input ..
